нареч.Русское многозначное наречие еще употребляется в ситуациях, относящихся к действиям разного характера. В английском языке разным значениям русского еще соответствуют разные слова, разный характер предложений, в которых они употребляются. Английские соответствия относятся к разным частям речи.1. another — еще один, другой (прилагательное «another» описывает ситуацию добавления еще одного такого же объекта к уже имеющемуся; употребляется в утвердительных и вопросительных предложениях): Would you like another cup of tea? — He хотите ли еще чашечку чая? Have another slice of cake! — No, no more, thank you. — Возьмите еще кусочек торта. — Нет, спасибо, я больше не хочу. We have another ten minutes before the bell. — У нас до звонка еще десять минут. Let's discuss it another time. — Давай поговорим об этом в другой раз.2. more — еще (к тому, что уже есть): Could I have two more books? — Можно мне взять еще две книги? I haven't finished reading the book yet, it will take me another day or two, I think. — Я еще не дочитал эту книгу, мне нужно, я думаю, еще день-два. The question has not been yet considered/hasn't been considered yet. — Этот вопрос еще не рассматривался. Are you ready? — No, not yet. — Ты готова? — Еще нет. It is not yet clear for me. — Мне это все еще неясно.4. else — еще (указывает на объект общего характера, не такой, какой уже есть или был; часто употребляется в сочетаниях с неопределенноличными местоимениями something, somebody, anything, anybody, nothing, nobody и вопросительными местоимениями who, what, where): Who else is going to come? — Кто еще собирается прийти? Where else did you sec him? — Где еще вы его видели? What else do you want to ask? — О чем еще вы хотите спросить? I don't know anything else about him. — Я о нем больше ничего не знаю.
